Favourite secondary characters (film + TV)

Having considered the awesomeness that is Cousin Eddie in the Vacation flicks, I wondered if there are any more great secondary characters that crack you up something rotten or who you're glad when they appear on screen...

Here's some of mine:

Cousin Eddie - Vacation
Eugene Levy as the dad - American Pie
Marshall - Alias (the gadget guy)
The Kung-Fu, zombie-kicking Vicar - DeadAlive (aka Braindead) ("I kick ass for the lord!")
Officer Dan - Married with Children

The geeky lab tech in Law and Order

Admiral Oswald in Empire Strikes Back (or any incompetent Empire officer, which is almost all of them)

Q from Star Trek

Ed's dad (Sting) in Lock, Stock

Stephen the crazy Irishman in Braveheart

He pretty much kicked ass in The Big Lebowski, Armageddon, Minority Report and Fargo.

This list should start and end with George Costanza, unless he's considered the main character. I always thought he was complementary to Jerry as a sidekick.
