Default Vegas or LA?

You have 24 hours and you're itching to play some cards. You have the choice of flying to LA and playing at the Commerce or going to Vegas and playing at the Bellagio (or Wynn, or Mirage, or insert your favorite here).

If they are both only 90 mins away by plane and cost the same, where do you go and why?

Vegas without a second thought. F LA, lol. This place sucks. If you're going to do something crazy and spontaneous, do it right.

i'm going to hijack this post.

if you're a professional poker player and you wanted to relocate to play poker, do you choose LA or vegas? is there more soft cash game action in LA or vegas? specifically, the middle to upper middle limits. (LHE)

vegas: better rake, cheaper standard of living, but removed from society
la: higher rake, more expensive to live, but a nicer place to live

discuss.

There are plenty of nice places to live around Vegas and in Henderson that are still cheap. Are the places in LA nicer?

not that the places might be nicer per se, but the fact that living in los angeles might be a better life experience as a whole than in las vegas.
