Default GOOD BLUFF? BAD PLAY?

Pokerrom $50PL.

I have about $80 in the BB, and have 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Not a great hand I'll admit.

UTG has about $175 and has the table covered. He bets pot $1.75 - and gets 2 callers before me. I make a loose call.

Flop comes 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet out $5. UTG Calls. Others fold

Turn Comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet out $15, UTG Calls

River is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I had straight draws (nut and non Nut) and Flush Draws (non- nut) but missed them all.

I also felt that that K could be a scare card if he has 2 Pair, or even AA if he thought I filled up. If he was also on a draw there isn't much chance he hits.

I bet out $30.

Thoughts?

I really like this river bet. I often see players at these stakes calling bets on the flop and turn with raggety draws, folding on the river to any bet if they miss. I would expect your opponent to fold 70-80% of the time here.
