When you venture outside someday, you will notice people referring to 12 p.m. as noon, the World Wide Web as the Internet, and their computer enclosure as their "CPU". [/ QUOTE ] Hmm, I had never heard that before. Interesting. However, 12PM is commonly referred to as noon - for better or worse. We knew what he meant in his OP.
