I'll play regardless, short or full. If the VPIP is lower, you have to play a bit tighter and steal more (pre and post flop). For me, that's the most fun part of the game, so I'm not too concerned.

I'll play down to 20% if the table features some aggressive players and the pot size stays reasonable. I try to get tables >25%.

I leave 2/4 tables if the VPIP gets below 40.

How's that for table selection, bitch!

I've adjusted my thinking on this a bit. I'm more willing to accept a slightly lower VPIP than I was in the past because I find it so much more difficult to find very good $1-$2 games at PP these days. Even when I find a table that is intitially very good, the turnover is quick and it attracts nothing but rocks (probably 2+2ers). I'd be playing 2 rounds and leaving all day long if I insisted on 30%.

Instead, I focus on the individual players.

If there are at least two "very loose" passives or a couple of maniac donators, I'm willing to attempt to divide their money up with a few TAGs and moderate players. I want at least 2 big fish accompanied by not all TAGs.

lol

Not at all. It's just not worth my time playing at tables with <40 VPIP. I'm getting so picky these days that I won't even sit down with like a 56/12 who only has like 6 bets.
