NL50 To NL100, trying to transition
I have quite a bit more in my bankroll than needed for the NL100 games and I am trying to give them another shot.
My problem is coming in that it appears to be a rough transition for me. I am having trouble adjusting to the newfound aggression levels. I'm playing 6-max by the way. Anyone have advice to help make the transition easier? I'm getting murderized out there. |

Try full ring first? 6max NL is the biggest variance factory in the world.

You'll get better answers in the small stakes pot-limit/no-limit forum.

Re: NL50 To NL100, trying to transition
I've made this very transition awhile back.. you first have to be comfortable with the dollar amounts or else don't bother moving up. There are just about the same number of donks out there at 100's. Just play a tighter than usual game when first adjusting, then open up later as you get more comfortable

Re: NL50 To NL100, trying to transition
When I tried to go from $50nl 6-max to $100nl 6-max I got kicked hard. First 2 times I tried to change I had the worst luck, then when party split from the skins the $50 tables tightened up so much I had to go to $100's. As they say 3rd times a charm. Same donks, 2x the stack.
I really don't play it any different except for bet/raise size of course. Good luck |
