read an article in a magazine a few months back about a plumber that wrote in to share a story. basically he goes out to this house with a clogged toilet. meets the guy that owns the house. attaches pump to septic system and proceeds to clean the damn thing out. tons of condoms come out. plumber goes up to owner and informs him that he can't flush condoms down the toilet. owner of house turns bright red and says quietly "I don't use condoms.".

Yes. Although as sh!t breaks down in water which is subsequently chemically treated, by the time it gets to the water supply it's not really sh!t anymore. Condoms altho not broken down by water do rip and tear and occasionally miss being filtered out. They have become tiny bits of condom, they are then chemically treated and they become chemically treated tiny bits of condom and by the time they get to the water supply they are tiny bits of condom which have been chemically treated. Don't flush them.
