3bet preflop

check/call turn you wanna get to showdown as cheap as possible if you are behind. He will also bluff when the ace hits.

I would also check/call the turn and river. If I bet it would be against an opponent who I know would only raise when I'm beaten but wouldn't automatically bet if I checked to him.

Sadly, this opponent generally does not exist at 10/20.

Interesting hand. Just curious, does anyone else 3-bet PF here? I'll admit, that's how I've ben playing it against aggressive blind stealers. Would a reason not to do this be to try to trap our aggro-opponent if we hit the flop? I feel we are best here or at least not too far behind way too often to not 3-bet this PF and take control of the hand.

That said, does anyone fold to the raise on the turn? That shows A LOT of strength coming after our CR on the flop. Getting 7.25:1 to see a river card where we have as many as out 5 outs (though often less than this) are not in our favor. We need to be getting 8.2:1 to make this call profitable (you can almost have the extra bets you will win if you hit cancel out the outs that are no good here).

Interesting post... curious to read some replies now.

bringing up a pretty old thread. everyone is advocating check calling the turn here, is it partly because there aren't really any overcards that can hurt us now, because of KQ?

same opponent, you have JT, flop is T63, turn A... check or bet turn? if you bet, and get raised, do you always call down an aggressive opponent?
