Default Time to unstack that treasure trove of Stars bonii

From now until the end of the year they are double-counting FPPs toward clearing those stacked reloads. That means they are now essentially $.40/raked hand. I find that rate unbeatable;even the NL/PL players shouldn't be dissappointed with this bump.

"To celebrate the holidays, PokerStars will double all the Frequent Player Points you earn in ring games now until, December 31 at midnight. Happy holidays!"

Do the "bonus" FPPs count toward bonus clearing???

The double FPP's do - you just get 2 FPP's rather than 1 for each $20+ 'raked hand' - making each raked hand worth 40c rather than the current 20c until midnite on 31st December.

After that the VIP system will be in operation - if you can manage 1500 FPP in the first month you will qualify for silver status and your FPP's in the next month accumulate at 1.5FPP/raked hand. If you can make 4k FPP/month that gets you gold status which means 2FPP/raked hand (ie the same as is on offer now)

...except that the bonus FPPs you get for your VIP status will not count towards any reload bonuses. From the VIP FAQs:

Q. Do extra FPPs that I earn in the VIP program count towards earning PokerStars deposit bonuses?

A. No, they don't

which is pretty clear.

So make the most of the current rich times!

Guy.

but even at the old rate you would clear any reload bonuses if you got 1500 FPP/month

The real issue is how good are you at coneverting FPP's to cash?

They have been on my account. It's more of a 2FFP/raked hand, clearing the bonus twice as fast, than a "bonus FFP" that doesn't affect anything else in terms of clearing the bonus.

Pretty sure that they dont count towards bonuses. Check your bonus status.

Looks like they changed the bonus counting. Last nite the 2x applied to the bonus account but today it did not. Earned 50 today and only got 25 in the bonus account.

If that is true it seems very mean-spirited of Lee and I'm quite disappointed - I would expect better of Stars as they launch the program they hope will take them to the No. slot..

As of right now it is still counting double for me. I too would be dissappointed if the terms had changed. $300 down and $600 left to do.
