Question about Structures...
Hey guys,
First post, glad to be here Quick question about WPT Structures. I recently played a few WSOP circuit events, the smaller ones ranging from $500 to $1000 buyin, and I wasn't very impressed with the structures. I understand that there is more "play" at the higher buyin tournaments, but I was wondering if the WPT structures are close to the same at this buyin, or if they are possibly any better. I think the structures I played before were like 1500 starting chips with blinds going up every hour, 25/25 starting. If anyone has any idea about the WPT structures for $500, or $1000 buyin, please fill me in. Im planning to play at GoldStrike i January if everything looks okay. Thanks! |

Re: Question about Structures...
It's the casino that decides on the structures. I know Bellagio uses a double chip structure for example. A 2K event starts with 4K in chips etc. I doubt you'll see a double chip structure in Tunica.

Re: Question about Structures...
The Goldstrike homepage says "double chip structure" for the Tunica WPT events.

Re: Question about Structures...
Borgata actually probably has the best structure for their tourneys in January. 3000 in starting chips for a 500 buy in. 5000 starting chips for the 1000 event. Plus Borgata is probably about the best casino in the country not located in vegas.
