steps "fee" count towards the MGR?

Question, does the steps "fee" count towards the MGR at Party? (i know the usual sng fee does)

So i guess the steps should to, but the caracter of these games is that you play a few and gain acess to a bunch more...endless carusell of useless buyins to the lowest steps and a few to the higher levels..

From someone I trust:

MGR only counts when the tournament entry fee is paid in the form of cash from your account. So, if you play a Step 5 $1000 + $65 SnG directly, then it would be counted. If you qualified from Step 1, then MGR is only counted for the $10 + 1 Step 1 game because that would be the only one you paid cash to enter.

The entrys from steps tourneys are NOT added to your MGR. I asked Partys manager about that one.

really? I didn't know that. That seems really stupid IMO, why shouldn't it count?

In the past they did count towards MGR.
So unless that has been changed they still do.

They do count towards MGR, Party management gave you the wrong answer.

I dont know the answer, however, if it does not then affiliates are getting screwed. Rake is being paid.

As someone that has both given and received Party rakeback, and has played exclusively step 5's for entire months, I can tell you that they definately count towards rakeback if you directly buy in. I am not sure about freerolls.
