Going to War in a Massive Pot--AK Top Two
The button has some solid looking taggish numbers, and I'm playing him on two tables. He's 17/8.5/2.7, and may well be one of y'all.
The rest of the table is awesome. The VPIP was around the low-mid 30s the entire session. Note the pre-flop awesomeness. This is a pretty standard "right amount of action" question. Seems about right. Did you split it?

Re: Going to War in a Massive Pot--AK Top Two
Button either has AA (1 way), AK (4 ways), or JJ (3 ways) after the turn raise. The problem is that you beat none of these. I like the calldown except that it doesn't charge the maximum to the guy stuck in the middle to chase his flush. He's the only one you're making money on when you're splitting. I may have put in one more raise on the turn, but I'm very unhappy if the button caps, because I'm not good enough to lay this down.
Edit: I suppose he may have AJ (6 ways), but I doubt it given who he his, who he probably knows you are, and your flop action. Re-Edit: No, there's no way he has AJ unless he has no respect for MP1's pre-flop raises. |

Seems about right. Did you split it? [/ QUOTE ] Nope. JJ. I was expecting to lose more often than split. |
