Wall Paper
Ok OOTers, here's a home improvement question:
I have used a steamer to remove some wallpaper I had up in a room. Of course, there is some glue left on the walls from the paper. I have tried DIF from Home Depot and a pole sander, with miserable results. I trew some vinegar and water onthe walls and found that this works best. My question is if anyone knows the correct proportions vineger:water to mix for optimal results. Welcome to my weekend in hell. Joe |

Re: Wall Paper
Isn't that the same stuff as DIF?
If it is, it doesn't work. Joe |

Re: Wall Paper
I actually tried this too. It works ok, but not nearly as good as the vinegar. It actually comes premixed in a concentrated solution.
It appears the best ratio is gonna be 1:1. Joe |
