Default Raise 99 in loose games?

I have been looking at my poker tracker stats over last 32k hands, and I noticed that 99 has a 36% winning percentage (is that pretty close to you guys?).

If that stat holds over the long run, it seems like it would make sense to raise 99 in loose games with three or more callers preflop. Is my thinking correct here? If I look at hands that have a higher than 33% winning percentage, and I am playing loose games (party 2/4, 3/6), it seems like statistically, I have to make more money by raising.

What do you think?

43.68 winning % over 190 instances. I raise 99 57.89% of the time, and frankly I'm a bit suprised it's that low.

Of course you raise! You want people to make the mistake of calling you. Your preflop equity is very high, so make money by raising preflop.

So statistically, is my thinking sound? Let's say after 100k hands, I look at pokertracker and determine that certain hands win over 35% of the time. Playing games that average three or more callers per hand, I should expect to make more money by raising, yes? Or would I be better off looking at the winning percentage after seeing flop to determine raising standards?

I've been thinking about numbers like this, because 99 may win 48% of the time, but how many times is it winning when you're at a field of 6? In consequence, I'm relatively sure I'm going to embark on what I like to call a profitability project. I'll explain it in a post later, but I think numbers like that are misleading. Although TTH might be a good approximation, I think real-life HH data is going to provide a lot more conclusive proof.

40.1 % wins, 50.4% raising with 99. I probably raise it a little more in loose games- didnt run the filtering, but its much more position and opponent data dependent than upon the raw looseness of the game.

Noticed that I raise it a good bit more in the latter half of my database- way too passive earlier.

I have actually been contemplating raising smaller PP's in the loose games. Generally you will have to hit a set to win with these 99 and below hands so whats the differnce with 66 vs 99.

I know 99 does have better showdown power UI but with 6 to a flop and a huge chance of overcards.....

I don't know.

AaronW did an interesting statistical analysis of TT, and why playing it strongly pf by far makes a ton of sense even with the number of overcards available, not bringing up the factor of clearing out overcards.
