Default Where can I get good felt for building a table?

I'm having a friend build me a table. I liked the one he made for himself with the exception of the poor felt he used.

Can anyone direct me where to find quality felt that will last.
Thanks ORBIE

Go to a large fabric store and get Ultra-suede instead of felt. It dosn't pill and is more durable than felt. I first played on it at the Borgata in AC. I think it's a much better surface.

ultra-suede sounds like a good idea, but if you still want to go with felt/baize then this is where i got mine from: http://www.pokerchips.com/

Depending on your choice of gender for the person doing the feeling, I would suggest either some clubs on Baltimore's world famous Block, or a couple of clubs in our Mt. Washington section. Although, $20 seems like a more reasonable fee. You don't have to build them a poker table.

PS: Shouldn't it be 'well felt' instead of 'good felt'?

Go to Jo-Anne's fabrics and check out their 'bargin bonanza' fabrics...Just start feelin' around and pick a nice smooth surface that you think the cards will slide well on. From my experience, anything is better than actual felt.
