I didn't think he would open minraise from the CO with AK but I guess he could.

I still agree with flop check but I think I should have raised turn like TWP said.

now what about villain's line? the river looked like a blocking bet, not a value bet. he should've folded, not knowing what you held. so i still think you made the right play, just against the wrong opponent maybe.

Folding AK getting those odds on that board with that action would be terrible. Only a hugely slowplayed AA beats you. I don't expect Hero to have AA more than 80% of the time there.

$125 is less than a half pot raise here. I would have lost about $40 more to the AK than u did.
