Edit: Whoops, someone beat me to the reference comment - that's how long it took me to read this report at work

Wicked trip report - I particularly liked it since I read while playing an "I just woke up $10 SNG" on Party, which I won.

I always mean to post trip reports but since there is no poker where I live, and Vegas is only twice a year, when I go I get much less sleep than you did, drink about as much booze, but I do this over five days. Which means I sleep for two when I get home to make it a week long trip. Not this time. I'm inspired. Going in June, will bring laptop and write notes every day.

Scotty Nguyen was walking around while I was playing. He looks just like he does on tv, although his wife looks a lot different. On tv his wife looks older and fatter with blond hair. In real life she is young and thin with dark hair. I can only assume it was his wife since they were making out in the hallway, classy.

NH!

"He keeps on so I use a line that I stole from someone here. I say “I’m sorry I will play better from now on.”"

That might have been me. Usually it shuts them up. When I was going crazy at the Mandalay and this poor woman who I slapped like 20 bad beats on went off, I used this line. I really did feel bad for her and tried to explain this, saying it's just a game, you'll get my money in the long run, etc etc but she wouldn't have any of it. Finally I just got irritated and told her if she really wanted some pain I could just play my A game and she'll really see then. She left the next hand. Usually the "I'll play better" thing works though.

Good trip report.

Leon

A bunch of us are going to be in Vegas the first weekend in June for the WSOP, would you consider coming along to handle the trip report duties?

You pay airfare and hotel and I'll bring a notepad to take notes.

I read this whole thing this morning.
I was disapointed that you didn't slum it up at the IP when you went for your burger.
