Default poker robots

I saw these advertised online. They play poker by themselves. They claim to take into account your opponents and their habits, and even can choose the best game for you. They say they play poker better than the average low stakes player and will show a long term profit. It says they are legal and undetectable. Has anyone ever tried this or anything similar, if so please share. Feel free to add any input on this subject.

Thanks

My guess is that it's bs, but it would be pretty cool if it was real. I wouldn't mind setting my bot to play for 10 days straight at 8 tables even if it only managed .5 bb/100 hands. That would be around $2,500 profit at a 2/4 table and I wouldn't have to do a thing.

p.s. I want to see a link to one of these bots.

Your poker playing robot comes with the following five phrases (expansion pack sold separately)

- I will crush you
- Oh, that was a bad beat
- That is what I put you on
- That is what happens when you are a donkey

And everyone's favorite:

Joke, Joke, Jopke, jopke!!!

They may be "legal" but they are definitely against the Terms of Service for just about every poker site on the internet. To the point that if you are detected using them you will be banned permanently. They are one of the forms of cheating that even party poker takes seriously, even just having one of the homepages of these bots open will trigger the screenscraper in party to tell you that you "have a bot on your machine, and if you don't remove it, you will no longer be able to play." If allowed to spread unchecked, pokerbots would seriously hurt online poker. Low limit poker is what drives the rest of the poker economy.

Party will cancel your account if you use one. I believe to go undetected requires 2 computers. I had every intention of investing in 1. My friend beat my to the punch. -$1000 later (playing 3/6) I got a free lesson and my friend got mad.

I heard nothing good about these bots. Most of the bigger sites protect against them. I don't know if there are ones that work well, and my friend just bought a bad one. My best advice is to sign up for some site with 100% bonus or whatever and let the bot play ANY form of winning poker and get your bonus $. However, I would do a great deal of research on the bot and how it work first.

PS - if you do find one that works fill us in

[/ QUOTE ] What's funny is that not only were you and your friend stupid enough to try to cheat by using a bot, but that you were also so GREEDY that you stuck it in a $3/$6 game, as opposed to, say, a .5/1 game.
