Scuba, I would fold this preflop. But if I misclicked or was tilting and called I would definatly play it the way that you did on the flop.

PS.... I never tilt in SnGs...

Why are your throwing away 7:1 pf w/ deep stacks? I really see this is a benefit to playing deep stacks.

I like it.

OK. I feel better now. It really felt good when I had two callers, both with KQo, and I improved.

Perfect.

I feel funny about posting to your hands now that you are BLUE but here goes:

PF, I like the call but don't always make it at this level of blinds, usually a bit earlier.

Post flop, I like it to a point. I usually will do this when the blinds are a little higher and do it more often on the bubble when I'm in the BB.

hmmmm. Don't mind the call pF with this kind of hand...the problem with this kind of hand is that you're more often than not only playing a draw on the flop, so it almost has to go down the way it did. I mean essentially, the PF call only makes sense if you are going to play these kinds of flops agressively...otherwise you should fold PF. (IOW, 7-1 pf isnt enough for JJx, JJ8, 88x, ddd, 9T7 flops) So essentially, considering your PF action, this flop CR makes TOTAL sense. I would give myself 12-13 outs on this flop with the pot bet and with the dead money and maybe 15% FE on your CR, I'd say this push is definitely +cEV and slightly less +$EV.

I wouldnt play it any differently which is why I was skeptical as to whether I liked it or not.

The PF call is questionable, but postflop is automatic, get the chips in. I'd also accept bet/3 bet but only if you thought they could raise and still fold to a push.

I would have played the flop just like you did, You have 14 outs unless youre up against some huge hand.
He wont call with a J and he might as well fold a weak king.
