OK, one more: I friggen hate it when the dealers are weak and don't enforce the rules. For example, One dealer will correctly not allow string-bets and the next dealer does nothing when one happens...this is more frequent now, than 5 -6 years ago (or longer)...ACJ does a good job at enforcing the rules, but I remember some of his co-workers having problems with understanding the rules...

I've worked hard not to let any of this bug me that much, but my short list...

Idiots...

on cell phones who won't leave the table while chatting away....

hand hiders

who always have to be told it's their turn to act

who always have to be told to post their blinds

who are surly (like they are at the docs office waiting for a cysto)

who never show their hand at showdown FIRST

who hold up the game when they are going to fold but, instead, are fumbling for a toke for a cocktail waitress.

who tell me how bad their running and moan about all their crappy cards, non-stop.

who want to rabbit hunt

who want a setup

a pet peeve of mine is morans on here laughing at ppl that wear sunglasses while they play. i've heard an argument, who is the bigger douche? the "wpt punk?" or the "b&m 'pro' that makes fun of him?" i still cannot decide, leaning toward the b&m pro.

the showdown is also annoying, quick story. i flop top pair good kicker ATo in the hole in LP, bet to me, i raise, EP calls. turn a T, so i have top two pair...bet to me, i raise, villain calls. river...uh oh...another spade...2 running spades...hmm..maybe i'm up against a set? villain checks to me, i check suspecting a monster under the bed.

i flip over my cards and say "top two pair" villain checks his hole cards, looks at the table, checks his cards, looks at the table, checks again and says with confidence "flush" as he rolls over 4s7s, buddy didn't even have a pair. so you can put slowrolling up there for me

*edit* same villain slowrolled amazing hands at least 3 times against me and a # of times against other opponents.

I hate the "double single card flip."

This is where at showdown Idiot #1 slowly unfurls a single king on a king high board, to which Idiot #2 unfurls his single king. Then they stare at each other, frozen and confused, like two deer caught in the same headlights.

And then I snap "Flip over your damn cards already."

But he got bad cards three hands in a row (not that that prevented him from calling). He needs new cards to change his luck

I hate it when the bettor on the river shows his cards, and then the other person in the pot flips up one card, showing the bettor that he's beaten. Flip 'em both up, you jackass! I dislike always having to ask to see the other card, especially if the guy is playing 80% of the pots and is embarrassed by his second card. I know you're playing worse hands than K5o, buddy.

Also, I play in a game with lots of old fogies. Some of them can't seem to grasp the concept that in limit the bet sizes double on the turn and river. Every hand they're in, they try and toss out a small bet on the turn or have to ask the dealer what they can bet. It's not that hard.

no i have not been to any of the casinos, i just arrived on monday. i'm planning on going to either tulsa or shreveport within a month or two. gotta get a job and stuff unfortunately =/ lol shouldn't be too hard!

I had this happen to me last week. Chick sits down, plays her first dealt hand, loses head to head showdown and asks for a new setup (and got it). I wanted to strangle her...
