Default Ethernet card on a used computer not working

The card is just showig up under the device manager as a question mark and all that it says is PCI Ethernet Manager or somthing. Is there anyway i can find out what kind/brand of card this is so i can download the driver for it. I already tried opening up the computer but it didn't tell me anything

you need to do a better job of opening the computer, looking at the card, finding out what brand/model it is. take the card out, there should be SOMETHING on it somewhere that says what it is (often in the top right corner)

If not, just put some of the numbers on the card in google and see if you can find it somewhere.

Besides opening up the computer and getting the info on the card you could always buy another ethernet card and replace the one that you know nothing about. They're not that expsensive.
