Not only that, but how is it a river value bet if you knew for sure he had a busted draw? He won't call you.

I was afraid of a set on the flop, and the possibilities of 2-pairs are there as well/ I bet the river in case he raised with a flush draw and missed. This is 6 max remember, they play everything and anything. Thanks for the input.

This line is valid, but it probably isn't correct here. Doing this is generally best against a good player who can get away from a hand when you 3-bet.

Edited to say that your line sucks with AA but is okay with AK. You should never take this line with AA...even if the villian can find a fold.

no, not too badly. as shill said this is a valid turn/river play if your opponent is likely to be raising for a free showdown and is disciplined enough to fold to a 3-bet. however going by your opponent's stats, this is highly unlikely here.

your logic behind the way you played the hand, however, is terrible.
