Re: Pulp Fiction.
Thanks a lot. That makes sense. And you're right, I was looking for one overall theme. Like you mentioned, there really wasn't one.

Re: Pulp Fiction.
[ QUOTE ]
But what you forget is that this movie resurrected John Revolta's career, and therefore is among the greatest crimes ever committed against humanity. [/ QUOTE ] My little brother(he's 12) thought John Travolta with long hair(absolutely terrible, by the way) was one of the funniest things ever. I found it really hard to take Vincent seriously whenever I saw saw that hair. |

Re: Pulp Fiction.
It depends on which one you saw first.
People who saw "Reservoir Dogs" first like it better, because they had never seen anything like it before. People who saw "Pulp Fiction" first like it better, because they had never seen anything like it before. (Me? I like "Dogs" better. I saw Dogs first. It blew me away, it was like nothing I had ever seen before.) |

Re: Pulp Fiction.
[ QUOTE ]
Incredibly overrated, when I was done watching the only thought I had was "That's it?" I started off good, and then the stories were crossed paths...then it was over. I felt like there was no point to this movie, other than seeing people get their heads blown off and watching a big black guy get anally raped. Damn, how did I forget to mention the briefcase? Like half of the movie is centered around that goofy glowing briefcase, and you don't even find out what is in it. [/ QUOTE ] Some people can read War and Peace and come away thinking it's a simple adventure story. Others can read the ingredients on a chewing gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe. |

[/ QUOTE ] but he copied a lot of them from Godard and other French new wave directors (along w/ others), so you probably should go to that source as well, just to be complete. but to answer your question, "Go" comes to mind. |
