Default Any IT wizards

Hi,

I've just rebooted my pc with windows 2000 and have applied all of the updates in "windows update". When i changed my resolution the desktop shifted to the right. I changed the resolution back to what it was but the desktop hasnt moved.

Any ideas.

Cheers

Harry

Try shifting it back to the left using the monitor's settings options on the monitor itself.

There's 4 settings you need to adjust. Horizontal and vertical width and horizontal and vertical alignment. Make the width a bit larger and then re-align.

There should be a menu button on your monitor that let's you see these settings.

Then you'll see like a TV screen with arrows <- -> and arrows up and down for adjusting the width and or height. Then you'll see like a a TV screen with a little square box for adjusting the alignment.

I think you meant your subject to be "Any person that has ever used a computer before"
