Please don't say the ease of rakeback, as isn't the better action at the latter make the aforementioned at the former less preferable?

Bart, that's interesting that you find the rakeback + reload at Absolute to make it more profitable than Party.

I have found the opposite.

Even with the hundreds of "free" money I've gotten at Absolute in any given week, I've found that the time spent to get it makes it not worthwhile as it doesn't equal Party.

This is getting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off topic, but have others (that meticulously track your results!) found the same?

Every once in a while I'll stumble upon an Aaron Sorkinesque sentence.

That is one of the reasons you do not play Ace Rag. Poor Sonny--time to go back to limit where he usually does very well.

What is the deal with trips on a paired board that the hosts want a big bet? With the pocket pair and making trips, this is strong. With a paired board that matches one of my cards, how is that strong? I do agree to bet this to find out where I am. What is the NL play here?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you flop high trips but with a bad kicker - say A3 on a board of AA8 - you want ot find out quickly where you stand (though it will still be hard to get away from your hand) check raise if out of position and if reraised - you can be pretty sure you are beat.

Thanks for the 411. I am mostly a tourny player and am learning this NL ring game. The smaller buy-ins play like weak tournys. That is why I am interested in the Mon/Tue games here.

I believe Rick explained that he was extremely card dead last time and still managed to win a little overall.

Shirley, The Game is one of the greatest films of all time.

It is, arguably, THE greatest film on first viewing.

And you thought Ice T was in it...

For shame.

Yes. I've literally seen 1000's and 1000's of films and my friends and I go more afternoons than not to the local cineplex, and, of those I know savvy enough to realize it, all of us would choose The Game as the one movie we all would want to see again for the first time if we could go back.
