Default KK fold on unders

SB here is passive, he shows aggression pre flop but then shuts down if misses post.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls.

Flop: (7 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, UTG raises, Hero folds, SB 3-bets, UTG calls.

River: (11 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, UTG bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 12 BB

Either the SB is really good or really bad. I am clueless here.

what is your thought process on the turn? You immediately assume SB has a straight (or UTG)? Thats a prerrty big fold to make, just cuz some 10/20 donk raises in front of you on the turn.

utg made the move, and you played bad. Have a really big bankroll, foster an inner confidence that you will win and 3-bet. If you are really scared of the sb a call could work but I like a 3-bet better against most folks.

its either 3 bet or fold for me...and passive sb coming alive like that randomly just rubbed me the wrong way.

I would be more interested in your read on UTG. SB leading the turn could be a lot of things that wouldn't stop me from raising. UTG though could have a lot of things that would stop me. 55, 77, 88, J9, 87 all could have been played that way by a lot of players (ignoring the action after your fold)

What is this guy capable of playing that way that you beat though? A8?

no idea, that def. would have helped i suppose

i am just trying to determine if this read was appropriately used, the limited read that i had.

surely folding KK facing 2 bets on the turn is a long term losing proposition. maybe i should just stop folding overpairs on unders, period. i can't imagine i am losing a whole lot calling down.
