Isn't it interesting how we generally refer to connectors with the lowest rank first (i.e. 67s not 76s) until you get to broadway connectorts (JT, QJ, KQ, AK). I wonder if it has to do with counting, and being used to the 5678 sequence.

I have never referred to a connector like that and would bet that a majority of posters do not either.

the reason why connectors are thought of as small cards, is because that is how people refer to them. when someone says, "i limped in with a connector," they dont mean that they limpe d in with KQ. its just become common poker terminology and im pretty certain it has absolutely nothing to do with counting.
