A good hard cider can be nice and relaxing, somewhat of a girly drink isn't it though?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yup, thats me. Try some proper English cider, I've seen hardcore drinkers fall on their arse after a couple of pints. Puts hairs on your chest alright.

I was 2 of 8 at showdown.. after the AK suckout... I played a flopped 2 pair badly against davidross who caught a flush.

Then I got sucked out HARD when KK got beat by 44 on the rivah.

my 10 10 met AAmazon's AA for the 2nd time.

Then my AK met JJ and didn't hit.

Tournament over.

Welcome to the 2005 season, my table:

Nice and easy!

Spoke too soon... It got easier:

AAmazon

In all seriousness, that's as tough a KotZ table as I have ever seen.

Anatomy of a bustout:

Get 2800 in chips.

Get AQ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the SB, blinds 25/50. Rybones open-raises on the button for 150. I smell a steal and pop it to 300 (realize now I should have made it more like 400). BB folds, rybones calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

I overbet the pot, 700. rybones goes all in for 300 more. I call. rybones has T8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Turn is an 8.

Down to 1400-ish.

Get AQ in LP. blinds 50/100. Got-the-sock pushes his last 1200 UTG+1. Looks like a small PP maybe, I decide to gamble on a coin flip and call. He's got KQ. Sweet.

Flop has a K. Not sweet.

Tried to make a comeback, but lost another coin-flip, and was out in 34th. Fitting number...it was my destiny.

the Big Lebowski is the bomb, I love that film. A lot of it was shot in my neighborhood and surrounding areas like Hollywood star lanes for the bowling scenes and the Formosa Cafe.

One of my profs from USC knows the Coens and was the inspiration for the disgruntled Viet Nam vet character. It was also at his house that they made fun of how his cheezy carpet "tied the room together" and that became part of the film .

I'm quite jealous, seriously one of my favorite movies of all time.

2nd break- 13 left. Great Auk and Scotty_h have stretched out their lead a bit on the rest of the pack.
