Default Tournaments vs Cash Games

I've been playing poker a little over a year now and just starting out online. Around our town (small town in Texas) I'm known as a really good tournament player but I often fail to reach the same success in cash games. Where I play in town, the host only has one tournament a week and about 3-4 cash games the same week. When I do have success in a cash game its usually a HUGE profit, but those come only 2 or 3 times a month. When I play in the tournaments I'm almost always heads-up and over half the time win yet the pay-off isn't as great because we pay 4 places. So I guess the question I'm asking is what should a player like me do and what are your views on tournaments versus cash games.

Thanks for all your help.

Adam

I can make more money playing nl cash games, so I play that. It varies for different people.
