I don't know what site you're playing on, but in my experience the SB acts first on the flop. I assume he checked. After the flop, this hand history becomes 31 flavors of crazy...

Either way, I still call because there's too good a chance I'm up against something like an ace (or worse). If either of my opponents has the case jack, it looks like I'm either sucking out or going broke.

This is totally player dependent..

some players have to have Jx to make this play, and thats it. (of course you can fold to that guy)

Some players will do this with a wide range of hands from a weak A , flush draw or air because its a scary board. (you have to call them)

I cant think that SB puts you on a J here ( you would wait for original limper to bet that board right?) Basically if he is a somewhat aggressive player you have to call with you stack size.

So basically I wished someone would have raised preflop , so I wouldn't get busted out by a better J but you still have outs to a split with anything worse than KJ.

a flop of JJx with J-rag is a scary hand to play if you're getting a ton of action...

i probably would lay it down if

A) I didn't have much money vested in the pot
B) my tournament status could be severely hurt on this hand (say u're up against another big stack) - fight when you have better odds...
C) you're up against a TAG who plays solid and isn't overplaying a good pair on an orphan flop.

If you're SS/ shorthanded/ or up against a maniac/LAG push away and have fun...
