WTF did I get myself into?

Party friday special. Blinds are 15/30.

Hero has 1400 chips in the SB. 5 limpers to him and he completes w/ QJo, BB checks. The two relevant players in this hand, MP1 and MP2, have around ~2600 chips.

Flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero checks to see what develops and hopefully C/R the flop.

I check, BB checks, MP1 bets the minimum, MP2 calls, CO & button call, and I raise to 250.

MP1 calls and MP2 repops to 600. Folded to me.

I have 1100 left, the pot is now pretty big. WTF should I do here?

And yeah, no reads on these guys.

I wouldn't be able to stop myself from pushing here. From what I've seen today, I'd expect to be a Queen, a jack, KT, diamonds, or a set.

I'd probably push hoping I was up against a flush draw and lose to a set of 7's.

I just finished HOH, and you are the meat in a sandwich play (mmm, sandwich). I would say that there are two possibilities here. First, the pot is massive, and if you call, you're practically pot committed, so you if you feel you must call, you actually have to push all in. Secondly, you have seen strength from MP1 and MP2 (MP1 called your 250, and MP2 made it 600), so you may be up against a set. A set is highly unlikely to be jacks or queens, because you have one of each and one of each on the board, and because jacks and queens would have raised preflop (at least I hope). So, what is the likelihood that one of the two has a set?

Also, don't forget your pot odds You'd be putting in 1100 to win about 2500 from one or about 3600 from both. Plus, remember, if you just call, you have a four out redraw twice, if you are beaten. Given the flop texture and preflop action, I'd say your pot odds are just too good to fold. This is a dilly of a pickle. Good luck.

So I figured the push was the right play, even though i just knew i was up against a set of sevens from the guy who raised to 600. And I was. But he lost the hand to MP1 who pushed after me w/ 98 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and turned the flush.

Good times.
