Re: limp-reraised by MajorPolk
I called, he had 99. These two limpreraise hands werent too exciting, I just wanted to show the amount of abuse you are allowing yourself by constantly folding to these limpreraises. Maybe Im just fortunate that they never have AA-KK when I do decide to call, but you cant just let someone steal 1/4th of your stack because they "must have AA or KK". A lot of these guys don't play AA+KK like that because its "too obvious" and they save their somewhat weaker hands for the limp reraises. |

Re: limp-reraised by MajorPolk
The limp/reraise is a very attractive option for him with his stack for the medium pocket pairs. A normal raise can get him in trouble when called, and seeing the flop in a limped pot is ok for him. Reraising a raise gives him great FE and he will often still have the best hand when called. Also he can still fold if very heavy action develops behind him.
I'd sooner expect a regular to know that than a beginner, so I'd def. call against a regular. |
