I asked Howard Burroughs about his months ago and he said Rio managment planned to run games.

The World Series of Poker starts on Thursday. I'm sure somebody will be able to provide some first-hand information soon.

I called today to ask info about satellites, yes there will be side games running. It is unknown at this time how many tables, or where they will take place - meaning it could be in the ballroom, or it could only be on the Rio main floor.

Their pokerroom sucks...still can't believe that casino is being used for the WSOP... Cash games won't be run from the conference/convention center they set up for the WSOP events, will they? The reason I ask, like I said before, is their regular room really bites...
