Sexy PLO-hands

Since PLO is a game with more startinghands combinations than Hold'em i would like to hear what kind of starting hands you like, and an explanation why. It would be fun not only to hear "Doublesuited aces".

Here are some of mine:

1) High pair with connectors, preferably suited aswell. QQJTds for example [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

2) This is a hand that many players doesnt like, but i love to play them in position. Hands like 4567 offsuit can be kind of nice, but only in raised multiway-pots [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Here's my top five

1. double suited aces preferably coordinated as well
2. double suited runs of four like 9TJQ 4567
3. double suited two pair ex. JJKK QQTT
4. big pair and connector
5. big blind specials where I flop nuts + redraws

Besides what you already mentioned here are my other hands I love to see pre-flop:

1. Any run of 4 to an 8 or higher,SS or DS
2. High Double Suited 1 Gappers - 79TJ, 8TJQ, etc.
3. any button (or CO) hand that can make the nuts - 579T, 68TQ, 6657 - DS, Axs89s. I love to get in cheap late, and outplay people after the flop.

my favorite is a suited ace matched with 3 connectors as it is a hand that either hits you like a ton of bricks or totally misses you.

JT98 double suited is a fabulous drawing hand. It's actually better than 50% heads up against unsuited AAxx.

I prefer 2222. At least I don't get confused by "outs"

I like your thinking, but 2244 is best played all in preflop, you only have to hope that your opponents AAxx doesn't get lucky and outdraw you.

I prefer 8883 as I will be a strong favorite against 4422. Sure once in a blue moon they will make quads, but boy will they cry if an 8 comes.
