Default Soaring Eagle in MI

Me and some friends are going up to the soaring eagle on sunday, i have been there once before and thought it was pretty nice. Anybody know of some good deals on hotels? or is staying in the casino for 100 a night probably the best deal?
thanks

Assuming you have a car, there is a Fairfield Inn in Mt. Pleasant (3 miles from casino) that goes for $49 on Sunday night. I stayed there when I played at Soaring Eagle and it takes less than 10 minutes to get there. Lots of food places to grab something on the way back to the hotel. Clean rooms, quiet, etc.

Good luck.

the # is 989 775 5000.

I've heard before that Soaring Eagle is "one of the best, if not the best, cardrooms in the midwest."
Why? Friendly staff? The people that run it understand what it takes to run a good card room?
How may tables? Typical games?
I may take a 2-3 day trip over there some time, as I'm not that far away from where I live.

19 tables, it's the biggest in the midwest. Hold em $3-6, 6-12, 10-20, and 20-40. Some $5-10 Pot-limit omaha. Low-limit Omaha8, usually with a kill. $2-6 7 stud and $2-10 Stud8 sometimes. I like it, however about everyone at poker pages forum hates it. They must all suck or something.

if anyone here wants to go there monday and tuesday night let me know, we are looking to split a room as many ways as possible. If you don't want to split a room, let me know anyway and we can have a two+two meeting

I live in Indy. Just exactly where is this casino?
I would go in with you for a trip but already have plans.
