Default Any good PLO books out there?

I am finding PLO to be very fun and interesting, but I think I play it like a giant pussy. The PLO forum here seems to ignore requests for book reviews, so I thought I'd try here. Thanks for any input.

Tne McEvoy/Cloutier Omaha book has decent material on PLO. Also Reuben is coming out with a book with example hands similar to his PLHE book.

How Good Is Your Pot Limit Omaha? by Stewart Reuben. It is a question and answer format.

Lots of good reading about the PLO on the Politics thread, especially in Gamblor & nicky g's posts.

". The PLO forum here seems to ignore requests for book reviews, so I thought I'd try here."

Search it. There are loads of threads including several recent ones (and some on here). The PLO forum has quite a small community of posters and people get tired of answering the same questions every week.

'Omaha holdem poker' by Ciaffone is probably the best book available. 'Improve your poker', also by Ciaffone, has a lot of good material concerning pot limit omaha.

I haven't read Reubens 'how good is your pot limit omaha', but it is probably worth getting.

These would be the 3 books I'd get.

I have reuben's "how good is your PLO?" and it's a good book but a pain in the ass to read because of the format. he makes fun of himself quite a bit and sometimes gives "not dying of boredom" as his explanation for playing questionable hands.

Hi,

Books, and order I advise you to read them :

- Omaha poker, by Ciaffone.
- PL&NL poker, by Ciaffone and Reuben, PLO section by Reuben.
- Science of poker, by Mahmood N.Mahmood.
- Improve your poker, by Ciaffone.
- How good is your pot limit omaha ? by reuben

And every month reread Reuben's PLO section in PL&NL poker, until you master all the concepts involved. This is a true goldmine.

And of course, play, play and play, but avoid Party poker (dont get used to play with 50BB buy-in). If you have not read anything yet on PLO, try crockpot's page on PLO before any other text : www.winningonlinepoker.com
