this is an eeeasy check... im surprised so many ppl want to bet... you think an average 5/10 nit called 60 OOP with QJ? he prob has 88/TT/AK... the AK is the least likely... check behind on turn. with no A i think its much closer.

Actually - this is what I thought after the hand and was kicking myself - but still not sure if that's just being results oriented.

Just to note, this board isn't as draw heavy as the posters are making out, if he had a club draw he had a straight flush draw and you would have heard from it.

I doubt you are behind much here though. Pot it.

This is why I am a habitual 2/3 pot bettor.

Also, I check behind on the turn because I have the As.

Without the As, sometimes I check, sometimes I bet - depends.

right - I was torn throughout the hand on what type of pot I wanted to play. Afterwords, I realized I overplayed it. I usually keep pots small, but just praying the guy was a donk w/ KQs or something like that. I don't like playing big pots w/ no reads and vulnerable hands - so I didn't like how I played this...

sort of "exhibit a" for playing brunson's style of limping with AA , KK.

of course, villain would have been sorry if you had KK rather than AA and you could have played it in similar fashion.

I agree that is something to consider as stacks get deeper and you are playing games w/ more reasonable opponents. However, in many of the 5/10 games online, with 100BB stacks and AA, the best plan is often to just pot pot pot so you can stack TP-ish hands.
