Default Pre-First installment of weekly old school game post

A couple other OOTiots and I were talking about doing a weekly post wherein I discuss two games, one popular and one less so, usually old school.

My question is, what should be the aim of this? Do you guys want a challenge, like on super metroid, trying to see who can hit a 100% game, or time trial on mario? Do you want a faq to go with it? Do you want to discuss what made the game work, and things like that?

If yall could just help me gauge response, and figure out what you guys would want from a post like that.

Thanks.

It would be more interesting if you found an emulator or something where OOTers could play NHL '94 head-to-head or something.

eh, there was some interest expressed earlier, I guess it has waned.

However, I do know of a couple emulators that would allow us to play snes and some nes games head to head.

I would like to state for the record right now my utter and completely unstoppable ownage at nba hangtime.
