Default AA vs Maniac

Sb is 53/19/1.55 and I've seen him do some very odd things.

How did I play this? Getting 3bet on the turn sucks, what should I do after that?

I like it. Although his stats don't really seem maniacal, but you had a read that he's a definite lag. I think not raising the turn is too passive, and while the 3 bet isn't exactly what you want to see, you're good waaay more than enough to call it down.

why no turn cap? This guy seems much more likely to be overplaying a smaller overpair than a 7 or a set given the preflop action.

He wasn't the typical maniac all the time. He would sometimes just pick a hand and go wild on it. One hand he went to town with 53o and fired the whole way when he was playing the board.
