Re: Feeling lost from the get-go with these suited connectors...
I'm surprised everyone advocates a fold on this PF. You have a fairly decent multiway hand. Now if it was Axs or something like that I could understand but with this hand I am going to see the flop.
I think you have to call the flop. I'm folding the turn though. |

Re: Feeling lost from the get-go with these suited connectors...
Is this whole table tilted way over?
I'd also fold this pre-flop when the three-bet came back to me. With this many players still in, you can bet you're not the only suited connector starting hand out there, and even if a flop hits you it could mean trouble. Also - the button was the initial raiser, so you can count on at least a call from him, in which case there is a player active behind you that can charge you for every card should he choose to. Suited connectors in late position is nice when you have players behind that are willing to fold and cede position. This isn't the case here. Position against the aggressor on a drawing hand is a big reason I fold here. |

I'm folding the turn though. [/ QUOTE ] Would you please explain? Thanks. Edit: Ok, I change my mind. Btn will likely raise killing our odds. There is also a sligh possibility that we are drawing dead to KK. |

Re: Feeling lost from the get-go with these suited connectors...
I play this the same way, calling pre-flop looks ok with a decent multi-way hand in what is going to be a big pot, you have to play the rest of hand with some care though. On the turn i think it's reasonably close but overall i think the fold is best due to the combination of tainted outs, the possibility of a raise behind plus some chance your drawing dead anyway.
