Please remember this all, that AQ vs. 99 is still a coin flip situation 55% to 45%.Moneymaker wins about 45% of time.

MM is a donk. He played that hand like a donk. He GAVE Phil all of his chips and Phil took advantage, only to get sucked out by Mr. Donk himself. And yes, I do think i can justify my calling him a donk even though I don't have any major tournament victories. And yes, I have played with him ($$ game). And yes, he was absolutely terrible.

Ahh, I wanted to post that for a while.

in MM's book, he said he though Ivey could easily have KQ as well here.

Post like this annoy me. The only important odds when considering the play are the ones where the money went in.

Yeah, at least 99% of the posters here, would have folded AQ on an QQ9x board against Phil Ivey there. To call this an example of bad play is insane. If he did fold there it would be one of the biggest folds in WSOP history IMO. (Sorry if I got the board wrong it's been a while).

Is this missing post missing a sentence or something? A few words that might convey what it has to do with anything?

Funny thread. I see so many players not shaking hands after busting out on TV, I assumed there was some sort of unspoken understanding among pro players that shaking hands is lame. To me it looks petty and rude.

To take it a step further. Has anyone EVER seen ANYONE lay down trips with no obvious flush/straight on board. No one on TV has done so, except that fabricated hand on ESPN.

Yes.

On Live at the Bike, a player had 33. Another player, with AA, raised preflop to $25-35. Player with 33 calls. Flop comes 9-8-3 with two spades. Player with 33 leads out for $30, player with AA raises all-in for around $100-120. Player with 33 thinks for about 5 seconds and says "I guess you have 99" and folds his cards up as the rest of the table has a coronary. (note: this was a set and not trips, but easily the worst laydown I've ever seen)
