Default Card Player Subscription?

I wanted to get a subscription and I see on the CP website for a 1 year subscription is $50. Is there somewhere else to get it cheaper?

Thanks for the reply...

I did some searching and found that Bodogs not too long ago was giving free subscriptions for registering with them. Shame I missed that because I don't have an account with them

The subscriptions were only 7 issue trial subscriptions.

this is why they jumped the subby price. I was going to subscribe but then saw it went to 50 bucks. So being the cheap skate that I am, I didn't do it.

Only every once in a while. I was reading the latest issue of CP and just about tossed it in the trash about 10 pages in. They've got almost no good information in there. When they have poker pros write for them, the pro basically spends 2 pages talking about just how great they are. There is little or no poker content in them. Phil Helmuth is the absolute worst when it comes to this. I see his name and don't even bother anymore.

And now in this issue they've taken to using the first quarter to third of the page to write the title of the article so that you can read it from 10 miles away.

Save your money. You can get the same advice for free on this froum.

There are lots of ways to get free subscriptions on the internet, lemme see if anyone has one for CP, it's somewhat unlikely though considering its a little too niche.

I thought about going the signup on poker site route, but the only offer I found was for Pacific and I already have a Pacific account.
