As opposed to money that was going to pay for bills or buy groceries. Honestly, I probably would've just kept the cash. Not because of anything selfish, but because I wouldn't have thought of a way I could find the owner or have the owner find me. If I had found a wallet with $1k in it, I'd definitely contact the owner and give them the money and wallet, without a doubt. But yeah, I wouldn't have thought to give the teller a number to call to name the amount probably because if I lost a bunch of cash I would never think to call the place I lost it at. I'd just assume it gone forever. GoT
