Green Bay is bad but not awful. This means they've lost A LOT of close games.

Minnesota has to be in the hunt. With Culpepper out now, they might be hard pressed to win a game the rest of the year.

[/ QUOTE ]

But they've lost close games to bad teams. The only good team they've played so far is Cincy.

Lost by 1 to Tampa (5-1)
Lost by 3 to Carolina (5-2)

Tampa is 5-2. They've played: Minnesota, Buffalo (version JP), Green Bay, Detroit, Jets, Miami, and San Francisco. They've lost to New York and San Francisco, and beat Detroit + Green Bay by a whopping 5 points.

Carolina has played: New Orleans, New England, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit, Arizona, and Miami. Their largest margin of victory coming into today was 10, against New England. They lost to New Orleans and Miami while beating GB, Arizona, and Detroit by a combined 10 points.

Neither of these teams are in the top 10 in the league. I don't even think Tampa's in the top half.

Fair points - I think Carolina is pretty good though. Opening day was incredibly emotional for the Saints, Miami is always tough at home in September (they kicked Denver's ass), and any time you win a road game when you lose your starting QB and the other team's defense scores twice - which Detroit did last week - there's no shame in that.

I have to go with Houston as well. It doesn't get much easier than the Titans & Browns at home - and they were lucky to win 1 of those games. There's no way they win a road game this year, and they may have won their last game anywhere today.

sorry, i am wrong on this.

new orleans is the worst followed by green bay. browns are 3rd worst.

this is indisputable going by results.

You sound more disgruntled than you should be...
Were you expecting your Brownies to be good this year?

Based on all this I think, its New Orleans, Followed by Green Bay, then the Vikings, then the 49ers, then the browns.

I think the Niners could take either green bay or the Vikings even if they do suck.

I don't follow your results reasoning on New Orleans. They've been beaten by bad teams, but they also won at Carolina, and only a horrid call kept them from taking Atlanta to OT.

I think Houston is the answer but SF, ARI, MIN, NO, GB are close in that order.
