Ok, the old TSP is back . . . .
Angelo can't play limit holdem worth a damn. I have no doubt that if he ever sat with me, dcifer, and scheids in a 4-handed game, freeze-out style, he would be the first one out of chips 90% of the time.
And I'll back up the aforementioned statement with a small wager if necessary. TSP |

And the 10% of the time, would that be when somebody was distracted and distressed by a hurricane? I don't know you three except from your posts here. You're all fine players. If I were the 4th, I'd be out of chips first 90% of the time. But my money's on Tommy. And it's not close. |

Re: unfluctuation
[ QUOTE ]
Are you saying your postflop edge figures to be greater when you don't 3-bet preflop [/ QUOTE ] If you look at the title of the post I think he's saying his flucuations are lessened by not 3-betting. Lower flucuations = less tilt. Less tilt = more money etc etc etc |

Tommy:
[ QUOTE ] I estimate my current earn rate at shorthanded to be 3BB per hour. [/ QUOTE ] TSP: [ QUOTE ] Angelo can't play limit holdem worth a damn. [/ QUOTE ] Both of these cannot be correct... [ QUOTE ] I have no doubt that if he ever sat with me, dcifer, and scheids in a 4-handed game, freeze-out style, he would be the first one out of chips 90% of the time. [/ QUOTE ] This is pretty rediculous, because I dont even think a total fish would be out first 90% of the time. |

Re: unfluctuation
"ive seen you show tiny hints of tilt almost all the times we've played together."
Definitely. But that was then. And home games don't count because I forfeit mumness, and plus, if you're in the game, what chance does tiltlessness have? lol I will always grow more and more tiltless, and if you do the math, this means that I cannot be completely tiltless now, and become more tiltless later. But after I don't know how many consecutive sessions now with hardly a ripple, hard sessions, sometimes long sessions, sometimes against tough opponents on purpose, to push and strengthen myself, I think that "never tilting even a teensie weensie bit" was 99.9% accurate. If I sound giddy about all this, well, I am. I feel like my poker career just started. Here's a nice line I heard. "Each of us is perfect just as we are, but we can use a little improvement." Tommy |

Re: unfluctuation
[ QUOTE ]
3rd if you want to add deception you can start making plays such as raising in this same spot with a hand like 78s. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. So, why is it wrong to occasionally *not* raise with a premium hand like AK, also for deception (aside from sacrificing the small equity edge)? |
