Default \'Stars $11, AA preflop, flop play comments pls

Villain in this case has not shown anything real fancy, its still kind of early, some donks knocked out early. One dumb UTG limp earlier and villain had the pot odds to call a button push where SB and BB folded where he won with high card, not the Ace.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (5 handed) converter

UTG (t4590)
Villain(t2250)
Button (t900)
SB (t3612)
Hero (t2148)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Villain raises to t300, 2 folds, Hero raises to t500, Villain calls t200.

Flop: (t1050) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Villain bets t300, Hero raises to t1648, Villain calls t1348.

Final Pot: t4346

My thought process was that his preflop raise could have been with practically any two big cards, Ax or any pair and I wanted him to call, hence the min-raise. If button or small blind had called, I definately would have pushed, or at least put over half my stack in, but heads up I want him to call.

Anybody advocating pushing on the flop in this spot instead considering where the stacks are at and whats in the pot?

I push back preflop....or at the very least raise at least twice as much as you did to induce the other guy to push.

I dunno you can reraise some more preflop and still be virtually asssured of getting a call. I can't see him folding to you making it 7-800. It makes it easier for him to call the push on the flop as well since there's no way in hell you're laying those down.

I think this line is A) less suspicious, B) gets a lot of money on the flop, making him see 5 cards instead of 7, and therefore is the correct play.
