Re: What do you think of my line with AKs? ($11)
Great reply, Lloyd. Thanks for taking the time to write that up.
At the levels I play at Party, I find 3-4xBB almost always necessary to thin the field to two, and I'd rather err on the side of taking down the blinds uncontested then finding msyelf 3 ways or more and out of position. With a limper or more in front of me, I'm often raising 5xBB in order to push out the rest of the field and isolate the limper out of position. So I think we are on the exact same page, but perhaps I need to be more fluid in understanding the precise raise necessary to accomplish my goals. |

Re: What do you think of my line with AKs? ($11)
Does anyone like a flop push? Our hero is in that "commited" range if he bets out any amount, so why not push it right? It's tricky with your stack size, but if the ace didn't come on turn I would really hate leaving myself with <10 bb's if I give up on the pot.. so I might just push this flop and see if I can take it down.

raise more preflop (450 or so) and you avoid problems

I think I'd prefer to have more than a pair and backdoor draws to push into two people. Give me flush draw or open ender and definitely.
