Default Sites that use the bet pot button

I seem to notice lately on the sites that use this bet pot button that people give no respect to bets smaller than pot size. I got blown off a few good hands before I realized what was going on.

Anybody else notice this?

I've noticed this at the SS UB holdem games. But when railbirding the big games they respect it more. I guess a half pot bet of 2k means more than a half pot bet of $20. Go figure.

The same goes for the PLHE games on Party, you don't bet pot you're getting raised or called by somebody with position.

Why would anyone ever bet less than the full pot?

I've been experimenting with the J.B. (pot-1) formula, and found it worked wonders, and now have been trying new formulas such as:

(2/3pot) - pos [where pos is the number of places away from the button in clockwise order]

and the devastating (1/2pot) + rnd [where rnd is a random number generated by my looking up from the computer screen and finding the first number in my field of vision (pray theres 3 seconds left on the micro, because you'd hate me to be on channel 666)]

I hope you're not planning on using that tomorrow night. I've been tracking your betting patterns for 12 months and I don't need you changing it up on me now.

I'll talk to JB and see what he taught you.
