I wouldn't have thought so, but I folded and that's what he showed me. I think I was maybe the only player in that tournament capable of that laydown, and I don't think his read on me was that good, as I'd have to have exactly KJ or AJ and be capable of folding it to make that a profitable push, otherwise I fold all worse hands and call all better hands. I changed my note on him a little.... I ended up winning the seat anyway, and I do think the fold was correct. I am wondering if a flop raise wouldn't have slowed him down. If I raise flop and make a small continuation bet on the turn, I can probably check down the river. |
