Ack. This river has value bet written all over it.

And why are you checking through on this flop? You should have made 1.5 more BBs in this hand.

I checked the flop because I wanted to try and raise on the turn. With hardly any straight draws/flush draws out there, I was afraid my opponent would immediately fold on the flop if I bet.

I agree - I should probably be value betting on the river - but why is my opponent raising with only one card to come?

I would. If BB has a set you lose, but more often I think he has two pair. BB wouldn't have raised the turn on a flush draw, would he? I don't think anyone does that with only one opponent.

I would also have bet the flop. I don't like giving free cards on a 2 tone and straight coordinated (68) flop. Maybe thats my full ring type of thinking showing. Even though the pot is not big, I don't want to lose it, and since we raised preflop, BB somewhat expects us to bet with anything anyway.

The BB expects you to auto-bet this flop, which you should for just about anything you may be stealing with. Checking this flop HU is out of the hand's flow and will raise red flags immediately.

If i'm BB in this hand, I'm checking the turn, too, even with a K. The flop check is really suspicious.

Uh what? hardly any straight/flush draws? there are 2 clubs on the board dude. And in 3/6, 57 has an oesd and a crapload of rag hands have gutshots.

Bet the flop, cap it if he plays into you.

play the turn according to his flop play. You're not folding ever.

RIVER VALUE BET
